UTM Fastpitch is committed to networking with the softball community, to provide access to more resources and information to help athletes become elite. We are proud to be able to share information from the Canadian Student-Athlete, a Canadian organization created to support the process of being recruited by schools in the United States at the right age, time, etc.
An independent organization created to support and simplify the process of being recruited as a young, Canadian student-athlete to compete in post-secondary athletics, with a primary focus on the NCAA.
Tessa Thomas, is a multi-time Canadian National Champion in Fastpitch, former member of Team Canada Softball Elite, former NCAA DI student-athlete in softball, NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete, two time Big South Conference Champion, Big South Conference Freshman of the Year, Big South Conference Woman of the Year Nominee, Big South Conference All-Decade Team Softball selection, CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team member, Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar, and was the recipient of the Harry Jerome Award for Excellence in Athletic Achievement at the age of 18.
TCSA is also blogging/writing more articles and adding content directly to their website. Visit www.thecanadianstudentathlete.com for more articles and information.
Tessa is available to speak to teams, groups etc. Here is some information on what that would look like for your team/group.
The format is very similar to a live version of the online webinar, with added value in players and parents being able to ask questions, and a deeper dive into some topics that aren't covered in depth during the webinar. This usually stretches the presentation to about 90 minutes instead of the usual 60. Given the audience, its possible to focus specifically on softball information.
It’s most important to me that players and parents leave with actionable steps to take to really get their recruitment journey going, or take it to the next level.
Fees are approximately $10.00 per player/parent combo, and includes a PDF version of the TCSA workbook.
