Welcome to the Home of UTM Fastpitch
Welcome to the home page for UTM Fastpitch. We are a Canadian based women's softball organization based in Ontario, but open to programs across Canada. We were founded in 2016, and have been fielding teams across various ages and tiers each year since in various locations that are "affiliates" are based. UTM follows the rules and principles of PWSA when it comes to deciding where our teams should be based. The same applies with respect to other provinces, we will follow the rules of the applicable governing body. UTM Fastpitch is a not for profit organization. Our summer tournaments are used as fundraisers for our teams, or community partners such as the University of Waterloo Softball Team, TMU Softball, Guelph Gryphons Softball, and more.

UTM 2K7 Claims 2025 U19 PWSA Championship
Once again the success on field is absolutely amazing! With a rebuilt roster, to help off-set the loss of some great athletes taking part in the Team Ontario/Canada Games program our UTM Revolution 2K7 team won the U19 provincial championship, held in July. This is the second straight provincial championship for this club, as they also won at U17 in 2024. The team is now heading to the West Coast, for a World Series event in the United States, before competing at the Canadian Championship late July. We wish all the athletes, coaches and families a great experience out on the West Coast.

A perfect 7-0-0 weekend in Cambridge has netted the UTM Morriston team PWSA provincial gold. This is the 1st time that our organization has earned a medal at the 19+ age category. Congrats to coach Saker and this hard working group of athletes that put it all on the line championship weekend to bring home the gold medal. The Morriston group will now watch as many of its athletes go back to their college teams in Ontario, BC and the United States to commence the 2025/2026 school year.

UTM is managed by the leaders of our affiliate programs, and by our Executive Director.
UTM has been operating in the province of Ontario since 2016. Originally we started with just one team, and over the years the number of teams that have affiliated with us has gone up or down based on demand. We have previously had partnerships with teams also in the province of Alberta. In 2026 UTM Fastpitch will be celebrating our 10th anniversary. UTM is a full member of PWSA, and the Grand Valley Ladies Softball Association. UTM now has four brands, Revolution, Impact, Ignite & Bandits.
